Change of Hands

Good afternoon! 

I hope everyone is well and ready for the holidays!  As most know, in February I left SE Health and worked for SFMC to develop an ICU education program there.  It was a short run for me, as I was soon offered a position with Johnson and Johnson/Biosense Webster as an Electrophysiology Clinical Account Specialist.  I started May 1 and have been in training since.  It is a very long and in-depth program and I have been putting all of my "extra" time into training and studying.  Over these past few months, I have not been able to be the leader this organization deserves. Therefore, Brittany VanGennip, our Vice President, will be taking over as President in 2024.   She is very excited and I know she will do a great job; she has been a great VP and wonderful to work with!  With her experience in both Education and ICU, she brings great value to the table!  This does not change anything for current members and the organization will march on into 2024!  

Brittany plans to lead the next meeting in early February of 2024.  This will more than likely be a business meeting and will have discussions on education sessions at that time. 

I will continue to be a member of our chapter and participate as much as possible.  I'm looking forward to ringing in the new year and seeing you lovely people!!!
